War breaks out between the Territorial Government, Settler's and Indians - it is a clash of cultures.
February 1856 Leschi meets with John Swan a second time to discuss the war and the Nisqually reservation. February 1856 (about the 20th) Patkanim's warriors defeat Leschi's followers in battle. He receives a reward of $20 each for the severed heads of hostile Indians.
