INSTRUCTIONS

1. Teachers print one set of all of the object slides from the provided PowerPoint for each BUILD YOUR OWN TIMELINE team.

2. Players/Teams arrange the object images in order by date. Watch out, some of them aren’t as simple as they seem!

3. Use clotheslines and clothespins to hang the pictures in order by date.

4. Players/Teams pick the object they feel best represents Washington State. Paste that picture onto a colored background to highlight it.

5. Players/Teams write a short statement about why they feel the object they picked is the BEST one in the set to represent our state.
